(We will discuss the schedule on Jan 24th)

All right, Ladies,
This is your brainchild, and it will be what you make it. This blog can be accessed by others, but usually people aren't too interested in random blogs out there, and it will be mostly our own joint journal. Just be aware of the possible secondary audience.
Artist's Way, by Julia Cameron, and her subsequent book, Walking in this World, have given us new ways of being, thinking and relating. This blog is a safe place to record some of those observations, reflect on the transformations, and whine about Morning Pages. (Not really, but maybe . . .)
We will also post meeting dates, possibilities for artist dates, and encouraging words. Again, this is your blog, so feel free to add whatever might edify the group.
Mary, your comment about "it feels so good to be included" was important. While the idea was just to pilot this book, the word spread, and I hope others who were associated with Artist's Way in the past aren't feeling excluded. It is by no means a closed group. It just will not be formally facilitated (as if it ever needed to be . . .), and our format will be very relaxed. My idea is that we will just come together to discuss our responses to each chapter--those passages that rang true, that we resisted, that we didn't understand. She reminds us to make room at the beginning of our meetings to let go of baggage (and not fix each other), and we need to respect each one's response, to be believing mirrors for one another.
Paula, hope Chas is better. Missed you.
Love you all.
Alison
